Jenny Allen and Leslie Alexander played my radio show on CKXU last time they were in Lethbridge and when they were just 
beginning to play together, so I didn’t want to miss them when they returned, May 7 to play the Tongue N Groove.
They both have new CDs with new music out, so premiered them together.
They looked totally comfortable with each other on stage, and seamlessly traded songs, singing beautiful harmonies on each other’s songs as well as adding guitar.
Alexander added a kazoo solo while Allen added some rhythmic washboard to one of my favourite Alexander songs “Supergirl,” which had a Kim Stockwood feel to it.
