Shout Out Out Out Out show was wild, wild, wild, wild

E-mail Print PDF
I caught the end of an energetic  and sold out performance at Henotic  from the Shagbots and Edmonton based dance/disco/electronic band the Shout Out Out Out Outs, Sept. 12
A packed house swarmed before an extended stage which featured two drummers playing on risers set in the windows of the old firehall. A bank of synths braced the front of  the stage. One of the members thanked all of his family for showing up and promised they’d be back soon
I was impressed with the triple bass attack near the end of the set,the bassists thumping through a wall of bleeps, bloops and assorted keyboard sounds. It was fast paced and energeticv and  surprisingly almost done by midnight by the time I arrived, but the audience was well into the music and enjoying themselves to no end.
