Salem Abraha explores his spiritual senstive side

Local musician Salem Abraha gets in touch with his spiritual side on his new EP “Live Long Wait Hope”Click here to hear Salem Abraha
Abraha, who usually plays his own brand of pop/ rock either solo or part of the Ben Brown Trio, goes solo on this CD, with this set of  seven introspective, tender pop songs.

He plays guitar and bass and sings appealing melodies as well as s adds djembe while extra piano and drums are added by producer  Josh “The Reaper”  Rau.

While the CD is classified as religious,  the actual religious aspect of it is pretty understated on most tracks, which sound like pretty love songs.

Though “The Almighty  examines “wisdom coming from above.”

Throughout, he sings  some really captivating  through laid back melodies.
He ends the CD with a very cool traditional Ethiopian song, which he plays solo with only his guitar  including a very sweet acoustic guitar solo which sounds like  mandolin.
