Junkman’s Choir celebrate Robbie Burns Day

E-mail Print PDF

I caught the end of the set of a new Lethbridge band, playing a Robbie Burns Day celebration at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Jan. 21.The Junkman’s Choir playing Robbie Burns Day. Photo By Richard Amery

The Junkman’s Choir were winding down their Robbie Burns celebration for a rapidly thinning crowd. The trio combined a couple guitars and some excellent violin and even a touch of sassy saxophone.

They played a touch of Celtic tinged  traditional folk, but still ended up sounding like a more sedate Plaid Tongued Devils on a couple more exotic numbers.
