Howran, who has always idolized Loretta Lynn, is touring in support of her debut CD “Pistols.” She said to expect a very upbeat show of country music.
Shaela Miller and Ryan Dyck are also on the bill. There will be a five dollar cover.

Ridley Bent is spreading his wings again for an upcoming new album. The Winnipeg based musician started his career planning on becoming a rapper then moved to country and for his next album is planning on a southern rock direction plus horns direction.
Bent and guitarist Chris Dunn will be playing an acoustic show at the Geomatic Attic, April 14.
“We’ll be playing music from all of my albums and some unrecorded songs. We’re going to mix it up,” he said.
Tickets cost $32.50 in advance. The show begins at 8 p.m. sharp.

If you want to dance, Juno nominated DJ Skratch Bastid will be bringing the party to Studio 54, April 14 for Ender Bender.
The Halifax raised, Toronto based  DJ  has been bringing the party all over the world. On April 14, he will bring it to  Studio 54 in his Lethbridge debut.
Advance tickets for the show, which begins at 9 p.m., cost $15 from Boarderline, Blueprint Records and Studio 54 and the Lethbridge College  student's association office. DJ Abel and DJ Fuze are also on the bill.
Other interesting shows include LOOT the Tool Tribute. They play the Slice, April 12.
And the New Weather Machine play the Southern Alberta Art Gallery’s happy hour, April 13.
The Owl Acoustic Lounge has a busy week of shows with  Amy Thiessen playing the L.A. Beat open jam, April 11, rock band the Previous Tenants on April 12 and Toques and Beards on April 14.
Another great show takes place, April 14  at the Slice where the Raygun Cowboys return to play with the Phantom Creeps. It will be a night of  energetic rockabilly tinged punk music and in the case of the Raygun Cowboys, a stand up bass done up like a giant bumblebee and horns — lots of horns.
It is sure to be a good time, so check it out. Admission is $10
Tonight, Zojo Black including Greg Gomola, will be hosting the open jam at the Slice.
As well, the Barn has their last open mic of the year, April 12 at Lethbridge College.
