“Peter‘s put so much work into it. It’s incredible,” said Charisma owner Becky Johnston.
She noted they would like to have rotating installation exhibits in Charisma’s windows.
“There are plenty of galleries in the city, but little for installations,” she continued. She said Peter Gilligan’s installation will be up for at least two months. She welcomes artists interested in putting up their works at Charisma to contact her.
“A lot of people don’t know we’re doing this yet,” she continued.
She is also looking for visual artists who want to display their works on the walls inside.
She has several other ideas to support Lethbridge artists including welcoming buskers to perform in front of the store.
“ I might even have musicians playing in the window and hook up speakers outside so you can hear them from the street,” she said.
