Darryl Düus and Church join forces

Over at the Slice, June 16, an intimate audience rocked with Church (Leigh Doerksen and Dan Puurveen). Darryl Düus playing wth Church. Photo by Richard Amery
They played an energetic set of original blues influenced rock full of loud guitar and rock solid rhythm.
Bluesman Darryl Düus, who opened the show with his band, joined  Church on stage to add extra  bluesy riffs and solos. He also sang a couple big, raunchy blues numbers with them and added some harp.
The entire band joined them on stage after that set for extended jams on classics like Neil Young’s “Ohio,” and many  others.
