Fox Eyes and Cosmic Charley play strong sets

E-mail Print PDF

Fox Eyes and  Cosmic Charley rocked the Owl Acoustic LouFox Eyes rocking the Owl. Photo buy Richard Amerynge, July 12.
Fox Eyes were up first with a tight set of punk/ metal music
They had plenty of  big riffs and vocalist Fox Mandy sounded like a cross between Joan Jett and Care Failure of  Die Mannequin as she glared at her guitar and sang.

Cosmic Charley played their usual strong set of funk inspired  modern rock and added an amped up cover of Bob Dylan’s “Easy Chair.”

They also played a lot of original music including the catchy “Lend Me Your Ear.”Cosmic Charley rocking. photo by Richard Amery

They ended their set with covers of the Stokes’ “Last Night” and signed off with a cover of Weezer’s “The Sweater Song.”
