Andrew Scott plays quirky country

E-mail Print PDF

Andrew Scott and Celeigh Cardinal gave the Owl Acoustic Lounge a preview of their  Love and Records 2013 set, Sept. 13.Andrew Scott and Celeigh Cardinal. Photo by Richard Amery
They had a good sized crowd who enjoyed the duo’s blend of quirky country and folk music couple with  choice covers.

They sang an excellent version of “Me and Bobby McGee and Fred Eaglesmith’s  “Freight Tain.” The ever smiling Scott beamed and yodelled and had a lot of fun while Cardinal blew the room away with her beautiful voice.

Their second set featured a lot of sweet acoustic blues music and more country.
