Sarah Jane Scouten and dobro player Sam Masterton played an entertaining set of upbeat folk and blues music, April 5 at
the Owl Acoustic Lounge.
Scouten sang lead on most songs and joked with a decent sized crowd about music and life in general.
“This one goes out to anyone who is here to pick up chicks or dudes, she chuckled before playing one of the first set’s highlights.
Most of the set was all original music though they ended with an excellent cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire” which featured some excellent vocal harmonies.
