Lethbridge eases into July with lots of piano powered act this week.

Toronto songstress Sarah Burton brings her new piano powered adult alternative project to the SlCam Penner returns to Lethbridge this week. Photo by Richard Ameryice, July 5 with special guest, quirky country singer Carolyn Mark.

The show begins at 9 p.m., July 5.

Competing with that is Vancouver singer Hilary Grist who plays with Dominique Fricot at the Owl Acoustic Lounge. She promised a laid back intimate enjoyable show. There is no cover for it.

The Slice has some excellent country/ roots shows as always.
Campbell River, B.C. country singer Sean Hogan make a long awaited return to Lethbridge to play the Slice, July 3. There is a $10 cover.

And we welcome Treeline and Shaela Miller back from their tour out to Toronto, when they play the Slice with Calgary  folk/ Americana musician Cam Penner, who has a new CD  out called “Gypsy Summer.”

And, if you like your country mixed with a whole mess of other influences, don’t miss the return of Vancouver's Petunia and the Vipers, who just released their new CD ”Inside of you”. They play the Slice on Monday, July 7.

There is a $10 cover for the show which blends alternative rock with traditional country and, blues and bluegrass with Romanian folk music.
