Bigwood 7 a blast on a drizzly night

E-mail Print PDF

I only caught the end of Bigwood 7, Aug. 23 and missed most of the excellent local acts on the bill including Lustre Creame, Cosmic Charley Jolene Draper of Tangible Radiance at Bigwood 7. Photo by Richard Ameryand more.

But I arrived in time to hear Jolene Draper's new band Tangible Radiance, who brought a solid evening of local talent to a laid back close.

They combined elements of folk with jazz music and a touch of rock as an intimate audience shivered their way through the night, stepping around a plethora of mud puddles.

I’ve seen them a couple of times and they continue to improve.

Dean Wilson stepped in at the last minute to fill in on drums and sounded like he always played with him.
