Applefest a success on rainy Saturday with the help of the Mark Hall band

E-mail Print PDF

There was a lot going on, Aug. 23, especially for local country band the Mark Hall Band, who played three fundraisers. The mark Hall Band playing Applefest, Aug. 23. Photo by Richard Amery

I made a point of catching their set at Applefest in Galt Gardens.

That was the last of three gigs they had on a drizzly Aug. 23.
They played a solid set of rocking country covers including lots of  Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash and  Elvis Presley.

There were lots of attractions for Applefest including a silent auction and various booths offering a plethora of environmentally related items and services.
