The Slice got a little groovy with Calgary soul rock trio Flowshine, Jan. 23.
They had plenty of energy and excellent bass playing and lot of tasteful guitar solos.
They played mostly originals but had a couple of classic covers including the Beatles “I Saw Her Standing There” and Tom Petty’s “ American Girl.”
Some of their originals were highlights, especially “ Soak Me Like A Wave,” which put the audience into a summer frame of mind.
