Driving While Blind say goodbye to Frank Gutjahr

E-mail Print PDF

Most of the incarnations of local blues/ rock southern rock band Driving While Blind gathered at Jimmy’s Pub and Brasserie, April 18 to pay tribute to guitarist Frank Gutjahr, who is leaving Lethbridge for the west coast.Frank Gutjahr playing with Driving While Blind. Photo by Richard Amery

I arrived in time to join a good sized crowd gathered to listen to Gutjahr belt out  AC DC’s the“ The Jack” followed by  some ZZ Top before taking a break.

Local cover band ie Dano and Juno were up next with  acoustic versions of several ’90s alt rock hits  before Gutjahr and another incarnation of Driving While Blind took the stage again.
