I only caught the last two songs from Vancouver art rock band Olenka and the Autumn Lovers at the Slice, July 25.
I loved what I heard, though I missed the songs incorporating horns. From what I heard, their short and sweet set was still based on frontwoman Olenka Krakus‘ acoustic guitar.
There were tasteful guitar solos and a solid groove which a decent crowd was enjoying.
They started right at 9 and were done by the time I arrived shortly after 10.
