“ I actually have two new albums out, the first one (“Traditionally Yours”) is  more recognizable sing alongs and the second, “ Songs and Stories” is more traditional.
“ It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while,” said  McDermott.

There are no breaks in between songs as piano interludes replace the breaks between songs.

The Cd features the work of long time pianist, arranger and musical collaborator Eric Robertson, who won’t be joining McDermott for this tour.

“ It’s not just piano though, there’s harp and cello, and accordion as well,” McDermott said.

“ I’ve done seven albums with him and I wanted to showcase his talents,” he said.
“He really does great arrangements,” he said.

McDermott will be joined by guitarist Jason Fowler and bassist/ keyboardist Maury LaFoy.

“ Jason Fowler is ine if the best guitarists in Canada, he said.

Tickets for John McDermott ... Traditionally Yours are $44.00 -$47.50 (tax and facility fees included; handling charges extra).  Showtime is 7:30 pm.
