The team has several tournaments set up during the summer including one on May 7. On the bill are Leeroy Stagger, Indio Saravanja, Jenn Pellerin, Jesse Northey, Woodland Telegraph, Jared Klok, Matt Robinson and the Necessities. There will also be DJs performing upstairs.  Local rock band Fist City will be  raising funds to help complete a fantastic new independent film called Roger’s Pass, April 24  at Henotic. In addition to  the music, there will be a silent auction of original artwork from the film. Check out the trailer at WWW.ROGERSPASSMOVIE.COM. The event begins at 7 p.m.
Another cool event is the  record release party  for  local band the Record Holder, April 23 at the Slice.
there will be a hypnotizing show at the Blarney Stone, April 24 with Asad the Uncensored hypnotist performing. Tickets are $20.

the Geomatic Attic has a  great show this week too  with Grammy Award nominated jazz guitarist and songwriter Gaye Delorme performing April 24. He can play everything from new jazz to gut wrenching blues with a touch of Chet Atkins style country. the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 for members, $22.50 for non-members and $30 at the door.
There are also open mics this week. Treeline hosts the open jam at the Slice tonight. The Slice is hosting a jazz jam as well on Wednesday with the David Renter Quartet. And some dude named Richard (yeah, that’s me)  hosting Henotic’s open mic on Wednesday, open mics at Beaches Pub  and at the Good Earth Coffee House as well as The Lethbridge Folk Club’s open mic on Friday.
