Local country musician Kevin Peters wound up 2023 with a hot and laid back show at the Owl Acoustic lounge, Saturday, Dec. 30. He had a trimmed down band including drummer Brad Brouwer and bassist Kurtis Koop.

 Peters was cracking jokes and played  his great cover of Luke Bell’s “the Bullfighter.”

  He shone on a cover of “Louisiana Saturday Night,” advising the audience to imagine the fiddle.
