Evan Gushul celebrates 95th birthday with photography exhibit

Gushul celebrates his 95th birthday with an overview of his career, opening at the Waterfield Gallery in the Yates Centre, from 1-5 p.m., Saturday, July 23.


Gushul has had a distinguished career, winning awards fro his scenic photos as well as photos of miners, children, animals and much more. He also has some of his photos at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary.


 The photos on display for this exhibit are on loan from the Crowsnest Pass Museum.


In addition to being a talented photographer, Gushul is also a musician who was the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra’s original principal violinist when they began in 1960.
 The exhibit runs until Sept. 17.
