Ghettosocks is a Juno nominated artist born in Ottawa and living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. In a short period of time, Socks has expanded his fan base from across Canada, to Europe, South America, Australia, Japan, and into the United States. His unorthodox songwriting style and energetic live performances have placed Socks in high demand both nationally and internationally. Constantly touring various regions of Canada, having embarked on three american tours, five European tours, plus an introductory Japanese tour, socks has become a seasone performer. Aside from providing support for a who's-who of establisged artists*, Socks has been steadily headlining more and more of his own shows, making him and up-and-comer to check for.

With love for 90's Golden Era Hip Hop, and futuristic mindset, Ghettosocks combines sharp witty punch lines, with clever pop-culture references over an ecclectic mid of instrumental landscapes. Socks is an interested breed of artists who manages to appeal to extremely divers and fickle rap(and non-rap) audiences.

Ghettosocks' latest work,"FYPT", features hip hop heavy weights such as El Da Sensei (of the artifacts), Sadat x (of brand nubian), and london england's legendary production duo, The herbalizer.

(*including The Pharcyde, Nas, Afrika Bambaataa, AZ,Special ED,The GZA,The beatnuts,The Herbalizer,El da Sensei, Kool Hurc, and dozens more)

Transit!!
Transit is a hip-hop artist who moved to Calgary from Victoria in 2007. He has gained notable buzz from media outlets such as Much Music, Maclean’s Magazine, Q with Jian Ghomeshi and many more. His latest album “22” which was released November of 2011, was the first album from a Calgary rapper to reach Top 10 of the iTunes hip-hop charts.
In 2010, Transit and long time collaborator Dave Wallace created a video titled "The 8 Hour Challenge." In the video, Transit and Dave film themselves creating a top 40 pop song from scratch to prove how easy it is to be "radio friendly." After creating the viral Youtube video, Transit and Dave were approached by KISS star Gene Simmons who was interested in the sound Transit and Dave had created. Rather than pursuing Gene's invitation to set up a showcase for his record label, Transit decided to stay independent in order to maintain his artistic integrity.
Transit has earned the respect from notable artists such as Jann Arden, Madchild, and Kyprios, who have all recently collaborated with Transit. However, his popularity extends past the music industry, as seen by his recent nomination to be Calgary’s first ever Poet Laureate. He is currently finishing his new EP titled “Public Domain” which will be available for free download Summer 2012.

Relic!!
Take the following ingredients.

1.Emcee 2. D.J. 3. Producer 4. Engineer 5. Singer

Combine these five into a single creative mind, and you have an artist that, well… does a lot of stuff. Now add a can of “ Do it real real good “ and you’re getting close. Add to this, husband, father, and entrepreneur and you have an idea of what makes up the artist known as Relic. You have to admit, the whole thing sort of makes the term “Triple Threat” feel like it showed up in jean shorts for a black tie affair.
His honest and soulful approach to music can be clearly heard on Rel's latest self produced record,GOLDEN. From one release to the next, Rel McCoy continues to embody the bold and vulnerable spirit of hip
hop culture.

**Rel mixed the 70% of the songs on Shad's 2007 Juno nominated album entitled 'The Old Prince', offering up a feature verse, and production on the project. He also re-appeared as producer/engineer and feature emcee on Shad's 2010 album TSOL, which earned him the credit of Juno award winning producer.Recently Rel produced “Long Jawn”, the last song on Shad's latest release “ Flying colours”.

Aerosubtle!!
Straight outta Lethbridge, Aerosubtle is an animal behind the mic. Never content to hob-nob with the unwashed mediocre mass of hip hop "producers," Aerosubtle mines the deepest, weirdest corners of hip hop to spit some twisted rhymes.

Steezy-Ray
Steezy-Ray is a sweetheart and Romantic, Loves Women and making music, he wants to play music everyday until he dies, he's always a gentleman. His motto "Peace and Love"
