BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Vancouver Island Canada, BC native Loyal’T’ began rapping at 18
years old right out of High School. One of his main influences to start
rapping was the death of his close friend Dennis Fritz. His first song
was written about, and dedicated to him. It was also given to the family
in time of mourning to show how much everyone missed him. He continued
to write a few more songs with nothing major happening. Soon after that
he began rapping every Sunday night for an “Open Mic Night” at a local
pub called Tommy G's in Lethbridge Alberta. He met a few other guys from
the City that also rapped and began hanging out and learning how to
become a better artist. In 2006, he moved to Calgary Alberta. While in
Calgary he released his first self-titled, mixtape with the help of a
local group Lethal Entourage. 2006, was also the first hip hop show he
ever opened up for. Thanks to Dj Booda, he performed at “ The Rascalz”
live in Lethbridge. He then took a few years off of making music to
focus on other things. In 2010, he was now residing in Edmonton Alberta.
He focused his energy into putting out an album and in 2011 he did just
so. He released his first album titled "Mr. Loyal'T' which is available
online and has had over 2000 hand to hand sales. During that time he
has also made connections with local promoters and also promoters out of
the city. He also GOLD sponsored a local hip hop event for charity
called "Hip Hop for Kids" that generates donations of toys for children
during the holidays. . He has also released a lot of single songs on
his other online media. In 2012 he also started to headline local shows
as well as open for bigger named artists such as Obie Trice, WC, &
French Montana. Loyal'T' had one of his songs titled "Tribute to Hip
Hop" placed on a mixtape on hiphopcanada.com hosted by Raekwon's Dj "Dj
Symphony". Also, in October 2012 he launched a rap battle league in
Edmonton called Rep Yo'Self Rap Battles. RYSRB (for short) has generated
a buzz in the city and is currently holding events every month and
uploads the videos of the battles to a YouTube channel for online
viewing. In 2013 he continued to host his rap battle league as well as
he embarked on his first Canadian Tour with Swollen Members for the
release of their “Beautiful Death Machine” album. He has a brand new EP
titled “Rum & Doobie’s” that is now out & another EP about to
drop right away. He also has another mixtape in the works as well as his
2nd solo album “Kush & Hot Chocolate” set to release late 2104
featuring artists like, MadChild, Choclair, Moka Only, & Saukrates.
You can also catch him live in your city in JULY/AUGUST/SEPTEMBER as he
has back to back CANADIAN TOURS lined up. Loyal'T' can be described as a
very hard working and dedicated musician. He is always willing to help
teach anything he knows about music to anybody willing to learn. You
can't really describe him as fame and fortune driven, but as someone who
respects good music and loves to share it with the world. He is still
learning new things every day and has a long way to go as an artist but,
is definitely somebody who is turning heads and starting to make a name
for himself in the Canadian hip hop Scene. Below are links in which you
