It's almost THAT time! FESTIVAL SEASON! Which also
means Unified Vibes summer breakup! This will be the last Kick It
Saturday of the year - also doubling as a Unified Vibe appreciation
night, and we would love nothing more than to share it with everyone who
has made our monthly residency at The Onion Bar & Grill - Lethbridge so wonderful this year! Don't fear - we do still have events planned for May and June, but this is the final Kick It!
While all our events at The Onion this year have been free, we are
introducing an OPTIONAL COVER CHARGE for this show. If you have enjoyed
our free parties so far, please feel free to throw us between $1 -
$1,000,000 at the door. These funds will go towards covering costs to
bring you an awesome, fun filled Spring Social on May 9th! (Which we're
giving away tickets to!) If you are broke, just don't like us, or
think we will just end up spending it all on hookers (again), keep your
damn money. But in all seriousness, we will super appreciate your
generosity, however big or small it may be!
Join us for a
rowdy night of what will surely be the best in DnB - and again the next
day for hangover Sunday Funday brunch on the patio back at The Onion,
where we will hook you up with 2 FREE drinks and FREE appys! Plus, The
Onion has killer lunch eats AND cheap caesars on Sundays! (Afternoon
time TBA).

Born and raised in Calgary AB, Canada, Strange Manner has his roots
firmly planted in the Calgary music scene. Growing up with lots of
support from his family, he purchased his first turntables and mixer
with the money made from his first job at the age of 15.
Over a
decade later he's still spinning and his love for music is stronger
than ever! Now a member of 403DNB, you can find him all over Calgary
spinning DNB events. A Junglist at heart, Strange Manner can usually be
heard rinsing reggae DnB, jump up, liquid, and many other DnB varieties.
If he's not on the 1's and 2's doing his thing, you can always find
Strange Manner on the dance floor!

Spinning since 2006 ERWIN the INTERN takes great pleasure in destroying
dance floors. With a blend of old school Drum & Bass and a new
collection of tekstep, he’s able
to present a unique style that will force dancers into submission. Be ready!
ERWIN the INTERN has been playing music in one form or another since he
was 12 years old - drums with the school band (yes he was a band geek)
then with his first garage band DRI SOUP. He then found his calling with
a band called MOSES PLUM DRINK. The guys in that band opened his mind
to new possibilities (Thanks to Robyn, Brian, and Jeremy). In 1992
ERWIN, Jeff VandenElzen and Tod Robinson formed the band JIL. Some minor
success and 2 records later they disbanded in 1996. During the days of
JIL, ERWIN and Alex Hodd (aka Alexi Peznakov aka the legendary DJ PEZ)
went to their first rave - As they say, the rest is history. Electronic
music has changed ERWINs life and its his pleasure to share this gift
with anyone willing to listen.
