the Lions play catchy indie-pop

The Lions at the Slice. photo by Richard AmeryOver at the Slice, Calgary pop/ rock band The Lions and Jesse and the Dandelions were playing.

I only caught the end of Calgary indie-rock trio, the Lions’  set.

The lead singer  had a big, loud Rickenbacker clean sound and howled out catchy lyrics which gave the band a Brit-pop/ Oasis meets Sloan feel.
They played a tight set of catchy pop music.
