Sandwich grooves with exotic sounds

E-mail Print PDF

Sandwich returned to the the Slice, May 12 to get their groove on.

Kyle Harmon, Paul Holden, Ryan Heseltine and Arlen Wutch Sandwich plays exotic music. Photo by Richard Ameryplayed a psychedelic set of jazz mixed with Cuban and Caribbean rhythms.

Paul Holden was lost in the groove on bass as Kyle Harmon added  a steady drum beat.

There was some  energetic saxophone, lots of percussion and a heap of energy as they played a variety of  songs, which had an enthusiastic  few frenetically salsa dancing pretty girls jumping and swinging in front of the stage.

They even threw in a cover of  Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean.
