Chevelles in an ’80s kind of mood

E-mail Print PDF

There weren’t as many people I expected to see classic rock band the Chevelles at Average Joes, Aug. 10. But that didn’t stop them from bringing everybody back to the ’80s.Scott Kanashiro and Tim Carter of the Chevelles. Photo by Richard Amery

They played an array of ’80s hits including a good version of Bon Jovi’s “Living On A Prayer,” plus the quintessential “Brat Pack,” ’80s hit “Don’t You Forget About Me,” and many more including  “I Love Rock and Roll,” “Jessie’s’ Girl,” and AC DC’ “You Shook Me All Night Long.”
