I caught the tale end of the set from Lethbridge based garage rock band the Yeah Dads at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Feb. 1.
They continue improving. Their last song had a catchy, reverb drenched guitar hook and strong melodies. I also caught the end of Lethbridge progressive rock trio Lustre Creame, who were a surprise addition to the bill.
As always they had some impressive guitar and bass playing and an entertaining stage presence, though they weren’t as powerful as they usually are. They ended with a capable version of the Allman Brothers “Whipping Post.”
