Stars From Streetlights play stripped down pop

E-mail Print PDF

Lethbridge pop group Stars From Streetlights trimmed down to a trio for their show at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, A trimmed down Stars From Streetlights. Photo by Richard AmeryFriday, Aug. 2.

They played infectious pop music with bass, a couple of keyboards and vocals.

And while the evening, which also featured one man pop band Mark Mills, was billed as a dance party, the audience was happy to sit and watch.

One couple was dancing  by the bar. Lead singer Austrian Graf sang a smooth version on Nancy Sinatra’s “Bang, Bang.”

Calgary based one man pop band Mark Mills  sang over a lot of preprogrammed  drums and bass. Though he played a battered old guitar for a couple of songs.
