Papa King and Evan Uschenko bid farewell to fellow bluesman Daryll Düus at their final show before Düus moves west, at Jimmy's Pub and Brasserie, Aug. 9.
They played a tight set of acoustic blues though Uschenko and Düus took turns playing solos and singing lead. Uschenko sang Canned Heat's version of On The Road Again.”
“Work” was a standout as was King' cover of Muddy Waters' “All My Love In Vain.”
Düus ended the set I caught with a fitting version of “ I Get By With A Little Help from My Friends.”
