The Owl Acoustic Lounge was the most full I’ve ever seen it, April 11 for an energetic set of folk and blues music by Kelowna’s Devon Coyote who were supporting their new CD “The Wind.”
I missed their first set, but caught the first couple songs from their second.
They started with a slower and older number “Old Guitar” and picked up the tempo and tore things up after that with lots of folks dancing in front of the stage.
Full house, only caught a few songs of second set including “My Old Guitar.”
Frontman Devon Bjarnason dedicated the second song to all of the guys in the crowd and the third to bassist D’arcy Booth’s parents. His whole family was out in force for the show. Drummer Rod Anderson held everything together.
