I only caught Toronto metal band Loyalist.

They had a decent turnout, though a good portion of them were the other bands on the bill.

Loyalist had a big, brutal, punishing  wall of sound courtesy of 21 high powered electrified strings including two eight string guitars, though one was switched out for a seven string and a five string bass backed by a huge drum sound a whole lot of howling.

The fans were getting into it, on a few starting a mosh pit with one audience member engaged in a free wheeling, arms  swinging , ninja kicking, spastic dance of his own.
There was a lot of howling and an intense wall of sound.
