Superb shows this week despite Covid cancellations

There’s always something happening in Lethbridge, Covid be damned.

 Though Covid has cancelled  Two Geomatic Attic shows this week including Samantha Martin and Delta Sugar on Jan. 29, who cancelled their tour, and the Sadies on Feb. 2.

 The Glorious Sons‘s Feb. 3 show  with JJ Wilde at the Enmax centre has been postponed to June 18.

 

 As usual, the Owl Acoustic Lounge has an open mic on Tuesdays.

 

Standard time play jazz night at the Watertower, Jan. 26 and the Slice has on open mic on Thursday.

 

 Due to Covid, the Ukrainian New Year Celebration is  a take out affair.

If you are in the mood for some blues, the Eric Braun Band plays Casino Lethbridge this weekend.

 And the Steve Keenan band has a show at Honkers Pub, Friday, Jan. 28 beginning at 7 p.m. There is a $10 cover. The Trippy Hippys host Honkers’ Saturday afternoon open mic.

 

 Cal Toth’s Dueling pianos was a hit at Honkers last week and will be back Feb. 12.

  But this weekend, they will be at Mojos Pub, Jan 28 at 7 p.m. sharp.

 Raymond based classic rock band Saints and Sinners make their Slice debut, Jan. 28.

 

Saturday night is all about alt country and roots rock music. Edmonton based alternative country/outlaw country band The Denim Daddies return to Lethbridge to play the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Jan. 28.

The John and Scott Band are rocking the Slice with Nebula, Jan 29 at 8 p.m.

 

 On the other hand, go bang your head with Motley Crüe Tribute All Bad Things who play the Place, Saturday, Jan. 29. Tickets are $33.61 through Showpass. The show starts at 8 pm.

 And , if you want to laugh, Andrew Grose returns to Good Times, Jan. 28 and 29 at 8 p.m. each night.
