Skinny Leigh aka. Richard Doerksen returned to Lethbridge from his home of Montreal to play a  beautiful set at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Friday, July 22.

Steve Martin eagerly looked at him for chord changes  as he thumped away at his upright bass.

Skinny Leigh played a solid set of acoustic blues and folk music as he reminisced about  his time in Lethbridge and played a couple songs he wrote while living here.

I arrived as he was finishing a  John Fullbright  cover.

He blended folk with a touch of blues and a smattering of jazz.

Throughout he  played some  pretty guitar picking.

He put on an entertaining show.
