New Lethbian Kevin Peters brought a full band of familiar faces including Megan Brown playing fiddle and adding background vocals to the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Saturday, Aug. 6.
Peters is starting to play more often in Lethbridge, most recently with Richard Inman in Fortune Block.
But he stood on his own for his Aug. 6 show.
He started off playing a couple originals accompanying himself on electric guitar.
He brought the band in stage to channel hi sinner Waylon Jennings, playing several Jennings classics including “Waymore’s Blues” and “Rambling Fever.”
He also played a Hank 3 cover before going back to the Waylon well.
