Timing is everything and this weekend, I had none.
But I at least caught the encore from Maddie Storvold and her all female folk trio but she is really excited to bring her trio including upright bassist/ mandolinist/ vocalist Jill McKenna and fiddle player/ mandolinist/ vocalist Alina Deanna to Lethbridge, Saturday, March 18.
The Geomatic Attic had a full house of enraptured music lovers for the intimate show.
Storvold has a big, beautiful voice and showed it and the talents of her new band mates in the encore, which was a beautiful a cappella “Daisy A Day,” which she said she learned from her dad.
