The Ruby Plumes capped off an energetic night of punk and rock related music, July 26 at the Slice. While I missed the Void and the Yeah Dads, The Ruby Plumes supplied their standard set of old school punk rock in covers and originals.
They played some songs I hadn’t heard from them before including an obscure Mudhoney cover and an energetic version of Lou Reed’s “Sweet Jane” as well as their cover of McLusky’s “To Hell With Good Intentions.”
