Saskatoon based country singer songwriter Zachary Lucky and his trio played some real, down home, tears in you beer style country music  at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Dec. 6 for a good sized crowd.

 Lucky sounded a lot like Gordon Lightfoot as he sang, in his soothing voice, road worried lyrics about being on the road, heartbreak and Saskatchewan. He had an honest, earnest down to earth sound that really appealed to most of the audience members who were listening carefully.

He was backed by subtly sighing steel guitar from Ian Cameron and tasteful lead guitar from Christopher  Sleightholm.
 He added a few covers including a great cover of Scott Nolan‘s  “Bad Liver and a Broken Heart.”
