Tyler Allen and the Part Timers played an uplifting set of bluegrass and roots music with a touch of jazz and even some blues at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, April 15. Tyler Allen and the Part Timers visiting Lethbridge, April 15

The trio, including two acoustic guitars and an upright bass, played a diverse set of  fantastic music.

They played  traditional bluegrass music, some Ray Charles, an audience favourite called “I’m So Stoned” and ended with a hot version of Robert Johnson’s “I’m Red Hot”  to end the show.

The band barely paused, not even as their bassist left to go to the washroom, returning mid song to pick up the beat without missing a beat.
