Medicine Hat born Calgary based  alt country duo Enslow entertained a good sized crowd at the Owl Acoustic Lounge, Saturday, Nov. 5.

Robinson alternated between electric guitar for some of the more introspective, laid back songs and acoustic guitar for some impressive upbeat numbers.

Maiko and Harmon stayed on stage to play rhythm to Enslow aka Brady Enslen and Jay Bowcott. They played songs off their new CD as well as a couple of brand new songs “that you will have to wait until the next album to hear,” according to Bowcott.

The duo took turns playing lead electric guitar as well as singing lead, accompanying themselves on acoustic guitar.
They were completely in sync with each other as they add  excellent vocal harmonies.

Their music reminded me of Leeroy Stagger’s more heartfelt songs.
Their brand new songs had more of an upbeat, indie rock feel along the lines of the Strokes and Dandy Warhols.
