Local alternative rock duo Cope has expanded to a trio with the addition of bassist Christian Nelson for an afternoon show at Theoretically Brewing with Victoria pop punk  i.o and local metal band 4BPM, June 25.

He filled a big bottom end to Tyson Wiebe and Mickey Hayward.

They played their usual set of distorted alternative rock.

 They were also playing the Owl Acoustic lounge the night before, but I missed that as well.

 They had a more full and extra loud sound with the addition of the bass, but I only caught the end of their set as they were opening. i.o. were setting up as I left for the next gig.
